“Yogability and you” is about bringing people together...and making them feel connected with themselves and each other.

My soft and gentle approach to yoga is therapeutic and combines simple breathing, relaxation and stretching techniques that enable you to reduce pain and fatigue, increase circulation and improves your flexibility and quality of life. It is both therapeutic and rehabilitative, as well as "heart healthy" and helps to gentle some of the tumbling thoughts that clutter your mind.

Whether you have limited mobility or balance is an issue, are elderly or are recovering from an illness, injury or surgery or if you are living with Multiple Sclerosis, Arthritis, Parkinson's Spinal Cord Injury, etc. or you are simply seeking a gentle approach to yoga, “ Yog ability and you” introduces you to the wonderful benefits of yoga and encourages you to move your body.  As I guide you through a series of “heart healthy”, easy can-do movements , I also teach you a soft, quiet rhythmic breath to help you to relax.

I teach yoga for the Long Island Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in New York .  Over the years so many of my students asked me if I had a video for them to do at home that I finally decided to make a “chair yoga” video which stars fourteen of my MS yoga students. My students have learned the importance of moving their body every day and how important it is to take small steps every day

Shelley believes that each of us is unique and special in
our own way and when we feel connected to ourselves and
to others, our journey through life will be healthier and
more balanced.

...I've been busy planting seeds of hope, health and healing....
